eMail Alert! makes keeping your mail in check simple and effective. By automatically scanning your e-mail accounts on a regular basis, eMail Alert! can play sounds, display alert dialogs, launch AppleScripts, load URLs in your favorite browser, and more to get your attention.
Using the built-in message reader, you can read and reply to messages without leaving eMail Alert!, and delete the messages you don t want (without having to download them!) - all without having to launch your regular e-mail software.
[New] IMAP support vastly improved. Rather than checking for the number of "recent" messages (which would often change as soon as the checker logged out) eMail Alert! now reports the number of unseen messages in the target mailbox.
[New] Holding down option while double-clicking the status indicator in the eMail Alert! floating status window expands the window to full size, or reducing it to a small status indicator. Regular double-click continues to bring the eMail Alert! application to the foreground, unless it is already in the foreground - in this case, the program will expand or collapse the window, as if you were holding down option.
[Chg] Entering "0" as the check interval is no longer permitted.
[Bug] eMail Alert! s check all accounts process is now buffered to avoid a possible crash (could not reproduce here, reported as fixed in beta).
