Great browser - compare to Firefox
Reviewed by: Shippster, Thu Mar 24 2005
Camino is basically Firefox optimized for OS X. As a result it is faster than Firefox, most notably on its initial startup. It lacks some of the features of Firefox, like the huge number of extentions many people never use. I also miss the new RSS bookmarks that Firefox uses.
I like Camino. I think the tabs are better since you can close a tab without bringing it to the front. Camino works well, but I did notice a very picky site that has a text editor that mimicks MS Word would not load in Camino when it does load in FF and Safari. Like all browsers, it is not perfect, but it is stable, fast and looks polished. Give it a try - you might make it your main browser!
