About The Three Frogs
Presents a student with images of three frogs and a crown. The student may click on each frog to hear its music pattern. Two of the frogs have the same pattern, and one frog has a pattern different from the other two. The student must recognize the frog with the different pattern and drag the crown to that frog. After the student answers, the three frogs leap back on the screen, and the process is repeated. The process is simple, yet the subtle differences of the music patterns is the challenge (easy, moderate and difficult taxonomies).

The Three Frogs contains patterns in Major, Minor, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, and Aeolian tonalities along with patterns in Usual Duple, Usual Triple, Usual Combined, and Unusual Paired meters. A student may observe his or her progress in a game, and a music teacher may save a record of student progress.
