When the copy is of reasonable quality, the results are astounding. This is making my archival work so much easier. As a grad student in theology I have reams of photocopies and keeping them on my iBook in PDF is fabulous. It means that all of my resources are with me wherever I am.
I am on demo right now and will purchase it before the end of my 30 days. I bought a Canon scanner and was extremely pleased with the scanner, but not the software that came with it (OS 9 stuff and OmniPage). I was just about to take the scanner back when I found that ReadIRIS had a downloadable demo - and that saved my scanner!
