Just installed Silverkeeper v.2.0.1 on the MBP 2.5GHz 4 gigs ram
on OSX 10.5.7. Works great with my LaCie 750gb
d2 Quadra external using FW800. Partitioned the 750gb external for
a bootable bu, Time Machine and one for extra stuff. Booted from the external to test and it works great. Simple interface which allows you to regularly schedule back-ups of the bootable external OS partition and also use TM. Silverkeeper works on most other brands of external disk drives with a USB 2.0, FW 400, FW 800 or eSata 3 Gbits.
LaCie has given us a nice free product!!
