Yum! Publisher's Description:
"Yum" is a recipe collection manager for organising your own recipe collection (also includes a sample recipe collection). Features include:
* Indexing by category - each recipe can belong to any number of user-defined categories.
* Several printing options (all, selected, category).
* Highly customisable page layout and text can be formatting including fonts, styles and paragraph settings. Your recipes can look just the way you want them with the option to use different layouts for both printing and on screen.
* Graphics can be included (copy/paste, or drag/drop) within the recipe text.
* Recipes can be imported from MasterCook export files, other Yum files or Yum XML files, and can be exported to Yum files, XML files or plain text files.
* Email recipe(s) (uses your default email client)
* Generate Shopping list for arbitrary sets of recipes.
What's new in this version:
* New "Shopping" -> "Save to iPod" command will save the shopping list to a text file in the Notes directory on any mounted iPod(s).
* Each recipe collection document can store any number of different layouts.
* Optionally use different layouts for viewing, printing and full-screen/step-by-step view.
* By default, collection documents now contain a pre-configured set of useful layouts suitable for common paper sizes, and one for step-by-step (full-screen) use.
* Maximum font size for step text in step-by-step view is now set in the layout editor, not in preferences.
* In Step-by-Step windows, a step heading (Step X/Y) now appears for the step if the method heading is present in the layout (always appears in the window title).
* Any source which appears (to Yum) to include a URL, will be rendered as a clickable link to that URL in view mode.
* The "Print" item in the main toolbar will now print all listed recipes (ie, found recipes in selected category) if no recipes are selected, instead of doing nothing (still prints selected recipes only if one or more are selected).
* CMD-V now does a "Paste and Match Style" to avoid overriding text attributes defined in page layout. Normal "Paste" (for attributes and images) is still available (CMD-OPTION-SHIFT-V).
* Can now exit full-screen step-by-step using the ESCAPE key (COMMAND-W and clicking the close widget both still work too).
* Added alert panel when unable to open files saved with very old version to explain how to obtain a version that can convert the file.
* Now uses the margins from the chosen paper definition (ie, as in Page Setup).
* Automatic updates now available by command in the 'Yum' menu, or optionally can check for updates automatically on launch (courtesy of the 'Sparkle' framework, by Andy Matuschak).
* Fixed step-by-step font size so that the text fits correctly within the window when the 'Method' is in the top or bottom layout pane (already worked correctly for 'Method' in the left and right panes).
* Fixed problems using layout manager window for non-default paper sizes.
* Fixed problems which prevented page layout sections shrinking vertically to fit content if the content was vertically very small.
* Separate recipe windows (eg, after double-click on recipes in index) now open with the optimal width for the view layout.
* Removed Tick and Box characters from shopping list when saved as plain text (for use with devices that cannot render them correctly), replacing them with "+" and "-" respectively.
* "Delete" command in "Categories" menu now works corrrectly.
* TAB press in last column of non-last ingredient, now edits first column of next ingredient correctly
