VoodooPad Publisher's Description:
VoodooPad is a new kind of notepad. It's like having your own digital junk drawer, where you can jot down notes, web addresses, to-do lists... Anything on your mind. VoodooPad automatically links each page together, to form a miniature world wide web just for you! Anybody familiar with WikiWikiWeb will feel right at home with VoodooPad.
Type in your notes, and highlight important words or phrases to create new pages; or drag and drop folders, applications, or URLs into VoodooPad - they're linked up whenever the word representing it is found.
You can export your VoodooPad library as html to share with others, or copy it to your iPod so you can view your library on the go.
What's new in this version:
* Made the page preview window slightly larger.
* Changed the menu "Copy link to item" to "Copy link to 'Whatever Page You Have Open'.
* Fixed a bug where you couldn't unlink the last word in a page.
* Exporting as RTFD, Text, or Word now includes embedded files.
* Fixed a bug where you could drag and drop images into a text-only page, and have it pasted in.
* Changed the behavior for the page preview from just the command key, to control-command. The previous behavior caused too many instances of it coming up when you probably didn't want it (such as copying or pasting text).
* Fixed a problem where internal links with x-voodoopad-item: were not converted properly for web export.
* New "Reveal in Finder" menu item when you right click on a file alias link.
* Updated and corrected documentation.
* Fixed a bug where the Record Audio plugin would try and insert an empty recording if you hit the OK button without recording first.
* View categories as tags. Use the cog-widget in the categories list to change the view as "tags".
* Holding down the command and control keys while hovering over an internal VoodooPad link gives you a preview of the page.
* Improved searches (your document will take a little bit longer to open up the first time with this new release).
* Fixed a problem where the file and urls list in the document inspector doesn't update correctly when a new file is added to a document when VoodooPad is in the background.
* Displaying a warning now when VoodooPad can not open a document because of a permission error.
* Fixed a re-encryption problem that cropped up in 3.1.5.
* Fixed a problem with the back/forward menu items.
* You can now drag and drop a tab from one document, to another's text widget and it'll link up.
* New command- Edit->Copy Link to Item, which will copy text to the clipboard which you can use to link to the specific page. Should work for any applications that respect the NSLink attribute in rich text.
* New command to "Link to specific page" using the x-voodoopad-item: protocol, which does not require an alias. Select some text and go.
* The markup engine no longer trashes custom NSLink attributes.
* Fixed a long standing bug where a deleted page wasn't correctly removed from the back/forward stack.
* You can now view embedded web archives.
* Now using Sparkle for auto updates.
