TopoDraw allows you to draw new waypoints and tracks directly onto a 2D map simply by pointing and clicking. You can also use TopoDraw to present navigation data gathered with your Garmin GPS unit on a 2D map. You can turn any jpeg, gif, tiff or pict that you find on the internet, export from a CD-rom atlas, or scanned from a real topographical map, into a map for use with TopoDraw.

TopoDraw integrates support for Link2GPS. You can upload data created with TopoDraw directly to your GPS unit with Link2GPS, and you can drag and drop navigation data directly from Link2GPS onto a TopoDraw map.

What's new in this version:

* New: TopoDraw now uses the standard GPX file format as its file format. Existing hiketech .gps can still be read for backwards compatibility with existing data files.
* New: Add support for OziExplorer calibrated maps that are calibrated with the WGS84 datum.
* New: Integrated "Setup Map" into TopoDraw
* New: Allow user to 'open' a map via the file menu. Opening a map file via the "Open…" menu item in the "File" menu creates a new document and loads the selected map.
* New: When data is plotted without a map the horizontal and vertical scale are the same to prevent distortion.
* New: Added a map navigator palette for easy navigation.
* New: Added zoom in, zoom out and actual size menu items including short cut keys for easier zooming.
* New: Added option to split tracks into segments.
* New: Added option to convert tracks to routes and vice versa.
* New: Added option to use the smaller "symbol" waypoint icon instead of the classic "pin" icon.
* Fix: Fixed image export (again).
