LinkABoo can create hyperlinks that point to specific e-mail messages in Apple's Mail application. If you are tired of taking notes such as "see Steve's mail, subject 'Blah', dated 11/21/06', then LinkABoo is for you. Using LinkABoo, you can simply refer to an e-mail with the ease of a single mouseclick.

You can use LinkABoo links in the same way as "normal" hyperlink For instance, you could create a linked Internet location file in the Finder, put it on the Dock, add the link to an iCal todo, use it from applications such as OmniOutliner, Yojimbo or DEVONthink, or more...you could even use it from the shell / Terminal. Basically, you can create and use such links in any Mac OS X application / context where you can use hyperlinks.

LinkABoo does neither modify Apple Mail nor your mails, and it does not install any background process: it only runs when you use it to create a link, or when you click a LinkABoo link. LinkABoo does not alter the way Mail works, and thus it will have no effect on Mail's stability.
