I had a fan noise problem and investigation on Activity Monitor revealed that this puny program was at fault. I love the sound of the chimes -- great for meditation -- but the program must be improved so that it does not disrupt functionality of people's Macs.

At home, Prodme takes most of a cpu and stutters and stops. The author is unresponsive to my requests for help (hey, you get what you pay for, I guess). At work, it works great. This is the only "persistent alarm" software I can find for money or free on the mac. All others use sounds that end. Prodme keeps chiming till you shut it up and I like that.
